  • Five kids and two moms in one hut.
  • The struggle is real with these kids in this village about an hour outside of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. That's Feed Starving People's third visits in one year!
  • These extremely poor children come to this orphanage school about 45 minutes outside of Bangalore where they receive minimal education and maybe one small meal a day.
  • Her, her daughter, and two grand children all live in a tiny room of a shack together. The total household income was around 450,000idr a month ($40usd). Java, Indonesia.
  • This is the Feed Starving People local team based in Hanoi Vietnam. They have returned to Si Ma Cai and participated in missions in Son La Province of Northern Vietnam (Si Ma Cai, Northern Vietnam).
  • These extremely poor children come to this orphanage school about 45 minutes outside of Bangalore where they receive minimal education and maybe one small meal a day. We were able to give them food and jamkanas (blankets) to sleep on for nap time as oppose to the dirt floor of their school.
  • The beauty and the starvation is both so evident in their eyes. Tim is always amazed by the genuine smiles that come over their face when he asks to take their picture (Bangalore, India).
  • A million rupiah (85 US$) paid to the school by Feed Starving People covered the school fees for two children for the next eight months! Java, Indonesia.
  • In June of 2014 Feed Staring People did it's first mission in Java, Indonesia. We went to a very poor part of a town in Solo. Locals, Christine Marie and Anggus, guided us to this family. Tim sat and prodded this 60+ year old woman with questions to find out the depth of this families struggles.
  • We brought new sandal shoes to 800 kids that walk up to 10 kilometers to get to school every week through very rough conditions without shoes. Si Ma Cai, Northern Vietnam.
  • It costs just a couple dollars to give each one of these children in the northern mountains of Si Ma Cai, Vietnam a bag full of clothes, shoes, and school supplies.
  • Wherever possible, we pick up the chalk and give basic lessons on English, math, proper nutrition, safe sex, hygiene etc. to the people we are serving (Si Ma Cai).
  • This is a Hmong girl, maybe 5 years old, walks 10km at the beginning of every week to get to school where she stays all week to get minimal food and education in mud huts, deep in a valley (Si Ma Cai).
  • This local Vietnamese girl came along to support us and guide us in our mission and she has since then done more missions for us and become a huge part of our Vietnam Feed Starving people team. Inspiring others is one of the greatest gifts of the work we do! Si Ma Cai, Northern Vietnam.
  • Bringing this old peoples orphanage everything they asked for to make their last days a little easier is one of the greatest parts of our mission. Outside of Bangalore, India.
  • The crying eyes of a baby that doesn't get the nutrition she needs to grow properly is heart breaking. Did you know that a child who suffers from malnutrition will grow 30-40% less brain capability? Siem Reap, Cambodia.
  • Feed starving People bringing school supplies to children at Best Way for Children Organization orphanage.
  • Bringing a full change of clothes, paper, pens, books, and many other supplies to this orphanage school is a great way to contribute to these disadvantaged children' lives. Siem Reap, Cambodia.
  • 400 US$ buy enough food for 10 families for 6-8 weeks! Son La Province, Northern Vietnam.
  • This 72 year old woman lives alone here and raises her grand daughter. She works 8-10 hour days for less than a dollar a day! Son La Province, Northern Vietnam.
  • Feed Starving People brings food to a man who is truly struggling to make it through another day. The joy on his face is priceless! Son La Province, Northern Vietnam.
  • This very old couple works very hard on a farm every day for very little money... We do whatever we can to make their final years a little better for them (Son La Province, Northern Vietnam).
  • Help us make more of this beautiful little girls life (Son La Province, Northern Vietnam)!
  • One of our focus when we visit families with children is how we can improve the children's nutrition intake, what their schooling options are and how we can improve their education.
  • This old man lives alone in this rickety old house where he is lucky if he eats more than once a day.
  • This old woman lives here alone with no family... what I found in her kitchen was a root covered in ants which she had been eating off of the past couple of days.
  • The teams of volunteers that come together for this type of work are by far some of the greatest people in the world!
  • Most of these kids have no idea how bad they have it, but it definitely does not deny the joy they feel when they get the things they need to live a better life.
  • Watching these kids put on new shoes and eat a fresh bowl of soup together is a precious moment along the way!
  • Feed Starving People brought new shoes, clothes, food, and school supplies to over 800 kids in the very northern mountains of Si Ma Cai, Vietnam.
  • It takes just a little bit of money, maybe one round of drinks to feed and clothe a kid for a couple months.
  • Colorful handmade clothing. Hmong style. Si Ma Cai, Northern Vietnam.
  • Feed Staring People had to travel great lengths through extreme and dangerous conditions to get these goods to all these kids. Si Ma Cai, Vietnam.
  • This mother waits patiently for their only meal of the day to get passed out... normally just a bowl of rice and/or maybe some chips (Bangalore, India).
  • This old woman from an hospice for old folks in Bangalore, India showed great gratitude for the food we brought them.
  • A whole family lives together in this tilted hut.
  • It's all fun, but no doubt about it; it’s work too... Getting two or three cars full of food to a base location then having to walk it all piece by piece, equally, to the people who need it most is a long day of physical labor. This job pays $0 and is the most rewarding job a man can do. I've never been so broke and felt so rich at the same damn time (Son La Province, Northern Vietnam).
  • Educating these kids, and change their lives for generations to come. Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
  • Found these three girls climbing down a hill of brush and prickers because one of them dropped their green bag of goods... they were going for it like their life depended on it. Tim had to jump in there and dig it out safely.
  • Riding on a motorbike dropping off food at poor families doorsteps like Santa Clause. Probably the coolest thing I've ever done. Feed starving people hopes to inspire others to do this. We will show you how... just contact us!
  • The loving hearts one can see in these very struggling areas is mind blowing. The people look out for one another everywhere. Amazing by how well they care for one another when you would think it' be like every man for themselves.
  • Generations of family living together in one tiny hut was quite the normal struggle and definitely a tough way of life. Cost about $23 to feed them for 4-6 weeks (1 hour outside of Phnom Pehn).
  • Generations of family living together in one tiny hut was quite the normal struggle and definitely a tough way of life. Cost about $23 to feed them for 4-6 weeks (1 hour outside of Phnom Pehn).
  • Running groceries to these houses well into the night. Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
  • One child from the Best Way for Children Organization orphanage in Siem Reap, 10 years old, helps with cooking for 27 kids to eat good food brought to them by Feed Starving People.
  • Beautiful smiling children that love the camera. Siem Reap, Cambodia.
  • Handing out new clothes to 27 kids at the Best Way for Children Organization orphanage.
  • The sad tired eyes you see along the way become very motivating... these people know you aren't solving all your problems, but you can see how much they appreciate a little break. Just a little relief to get through another day or the next couple weeks doesn't take much.
  • While we bring them new clothes and food, we also bring soap and hygiene products cause we know they’ve gotten used to a style of life that’s not acceptable in most societies. Can you imagine if showers and clean drinking water was a luxury?
  • It's not hard to just stop and spend a few hours teaching English, and they love to learn it.
  • Giving food to 15 families an hour and a half outside of Siem Reap, Cambodia. It's amazing how they all work peacefully together to divide it all up evenly, making sure everyone gets an even share.
